Instagram today made a small but useful change, allowing Instagram users to edit their comments up to 15 minutes after writing the first comment.
The social media site managed by Meta has long supported editing Instagram posts, but comments have never been able to be updated to correct errors. Editing of comments can be done by tapping the new “Edit” option that is displayed after a comment is posted.
Edited Instagram comments will be marked with a gray edited tag, but Instagram doesn’t allow users to see the original comment.
