In this step-by-step tutorial, we show you how to add the complete 2026 FIFA World Cup match schedule to your iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch Calendar, so you can get timely alerts based on your local time zone and never miss a game.
The 2026 soccer World Cup is scheduled to begin on June 11, when Mexico will face South Africa at the Estadio Azteca Stadium, Mexico City. And the grand final will be played on July 19 at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
The 2026 edition includes 48 teams (up from 32 in the 2022 edition) and is the first FIFA World Cup to have three participating countries: the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
The 48 teams are divided into 12 groups (A to L), each group has 4 teams. The United States is in Group D, along with Paraguay, Australia, and Turkey.
A total of 104 games must be played in 5 weeks, resulting in more than one game on most days! So whether you’re cheering for the USA, whose first match is on June 12 against Paraguay, or supporting the winner of the final series Argentina or the runner-up France, having a full schedule on your iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch calendar can help plan your day better so you can catch your favorite team’s game.
We will show you how to add FIFA 2026 to both iOS and macOS. But if you use iCloud to sync your calendars, just add it to one of your devices, and events will sync across all of them.
And the best part is that the calendar events you add will display the date and time of your local time zone. So, while the first game is on June 11th for people in the Americas, it will be on June 12th in most parts of Asia and Australia. You get the idea…
Second, from now on, you will only be adding the first 72 confirmed matches of the FIFA World Cup schedule. Once the World Cup has reached the next stage and the remaining matches have been completed (eg vs Group B Running Ahead), events will be updated automatically, and you will see them in your device’s Calendar.
