Samsung The Frame TV (2026): Everything you need to know

Published:

Samsung unveiled The Frame (2026), also known as LS03HE, at the CES event in January 2026. It is the latest iteration of the original The Frame TV, launched by the brand in 2017. The new model brings many improvements over its predecessor, which we will talk about shortly.

The company made The Frame (2026) available for purchase for the first time in April 2026, in many countries around the world, including the United States. The South Korean tech giant also offers The Frame Pro (2026), an upgraded version of this model. You can read more about it here.

Design

Samsung has introduced the original TV frame with the intention that you can use it as a TV and a picture frame. To make it look like a frame, the brand has provided bezels around the display that look like those on the original picture frame. Draft (2026) is no different.

It also comes with bezels on the screen that match the ones on the original photo frame. Samsung also offers four add-on bezel options to enhance its look: Modern Brown Model, Modern Teak, Modern White, and Sand Gold Model. They are available at an additional cost.

Show

Samsung offers The Frame LS03HE in four screen sizes: 55-inch, 65-inch, 75-inch, and 85-inch. All models have a VA LCD panel with a Quantum Dot layer (Samsung calls it QLED), a resolution of 3,840 x 2,160 pixels, and a refresh rate of 144Hz with AMD FreeSync Premium support.

The panel has a non-stick coating, which reduces its appearance, which not only improves the image quality but also makes it look more like a real picture frame. The TV supports HDR and HDR10+, and comes with AI-powered 4K upscaling. It has Pantone Validated ArtfulColor certification.

The sound

The frame (2026) has two speakers in the stereo channel with a sound output of 20W. Supports Dolby Atmos. Additionally, you get Adaptive Sound Pro, Active Voice Amplifier Pro, 360 Audio, AI Sound Controller, Q-Symphony, and OTS Lite.

Communication

Starting with wireless connectivity options, the Frame LS03HE features tri-band (2.4GHz, 5GHz, and 6GHz) Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3. Then there is support for Apple AirPlay and Google Cast. As for the wired options, you get four HDMI 2.1 ports that support 4K at 144Hz, one audio output, two USB Type-A ports, and one LAN port.

Samsung is shipping a TV with a SolarCell remote control. As the name suggests, it has a solar panel on the back, which can charge the batteries with sunlight, reducing or eliminating the need to charge the remote manually. You can also charge it using its USB Type-C port.

Processes hardware and software

The frame (2026) includes an NQ4 AI Gen2 processor, and runs on the Tizen Smart TV app. Samsung has promised to provide software updates for seven years. The brand ships with Vision AI, which provides a host of powerful AI features to make TV easier for you. The TV offers two voice assistants, Amazon Alexa and Samsung Bixby.

It comes loaded with Art Shop, which can display works of art from world-renowned artists, turning the TV into a picture frame, justifying its name. You also get Samsung TV Plus, Samsung Health, and many other popular apps out of the box. Speaking of which, there are plenty of apps, including those of the most popular streaming services, available on the OS.
