Sony officially announced the 2026 Days of Play Sale yesterday, as we expected, and everything is live today. The annual celebration includes hundreds of digital games, price drops on PS5 games at Amazon and other major retailers, a rare deal on Ghost of Yotei at Walmart and Amazon, and deals on PS5 controllers, PS VR2, and more — all going live today.

For those unfamiliar, PlayStation Days of Play is an annual event that takes place in late spring/early summer to celebrate PlayStation gamers. While it may seem a little sweet this year after a series of price hikes on the PS5 and PS Plus consoles, the best deals are for people who already own a console anyway.

While Sony didn’t drop details on exactly which games will be sold in physical form this year, we’re highly expecting first-party titles from The Last of Us and Spider-Man to Death Stranding 2, and more. It mentioned games like “Ghost of Yōtei, Helldivers 2, Death Stranding 2 and The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered,” but there’s no word on whether these are portable or PlayStation Store-only deals.

PlayStation Store game deal dates
Alongside the physical titles, there will be hundreds of digital titles for sale on the PlayStation Store, according to Sony. I personally think that’s modest – it could be more like 1,000 with DLC and add-ons.

The PlayStation Days of Play 2026 auction starts on May 27.
Prime time will be in effect today as participating retailers — Amazon, Walmart, Target, Best Buy, and more — will all have deals going live at various times. It’s best to be ready by 12 midnight ET, but chances are Best Buy’s deals will start at 1 am ET and Amazon’s discounts will go live at 3 am ET.
The 2026 Days of Play sale will end on June 10.
