LG’s UltraGear 720Hz dual-mode OLED monitor comes in at $300 cheaper than before Prime Day

As part of its early Prime Day deals, Amazon is now offering LG’s 27-inch UltraGear dual-mode OLED monitor. $699.99 shipped. This is one of the fastest OLED monitors out there, with a panel that sports refresh rates of up to 720Hz. It normally costs $1,000, but today’s deal takes $300 off its regular price for $50 off the previous low that hit earlier this year. The highlight of this gaming monitor is its dual-mode feature support, which can run at 720Hz in HD for super-fast competitive gameplay, or switch to QHD at 540Hz if you’d rather have a sharper image for slow motion cinematic games. LG pairs that flexibility with a 0.02ms response time, support for NVIDIA G-Sync and AMD FreeSync, and its 4th Gen Primary RGB Tandem OLED panel, which it says makes this monitor its brightest OLED gaming to date up to 335 nits. This panel also offers a good set of connectivity options for DisplayPort 2.1, a USB-C port, and two HDMI 2.1 ports.
