Amazon Prime Day may be going strong this week (and will be until June 26), but that doesn’t mean other companies can’t get in on the fun. While we’ve taken a look at some streaming deals worth checking out before the savings event kicks off, we couldn’t help but notice that Walmart is selling one of Apple’s most popular headphone models at a great discount. Interestingly, this is also the first time that this product has been available at such a reduced price.
Currently, Walmart is selling AirPods Max 2 at a price that allows users to save $150 off the regular listing price of these headphones. As well as other impressive features for audiophiles, the discount applies to every color option – although users may want to act quickly if they want to snag their favorite colour. Additionally, Walmart offers a 2-year warranty for AppleCare+, although it also sells a 3-year plan or a 4-year protection plan through Allstate.
When we reviewed the AirPods Max 2 in April, we found them well-built with premium quality, although we wished they came with a proper protective case. However, customers have a lot of good things to say about these headphones, and this huge discount may not return again. If you’ve been thinking about a new pair of headphones, you should definitely check out this deal to see everything Apple has to offer.
Save big on AirPods Max 2 at Walmart
Right now, Walmart is selling the AirPods Max 2 for $399, which saves users a bit of money off the regular listing price. Usually available in Starlight, Orange, Purple, Blue, and Midnight color options, users should note that certain options sell out faster than others. However, there is free shipping available for this item, and it’s good to remember that Walmart offers free 30-day returns.
Promising up to 1.5 times more Effective Noise Cancellation than the previous model, Apple’s AirPods Max 2 over-ear headphones are powered by the company’s H2 chipset. Additional audio features include personalized Spatial Audio, which automatically tunes to the user’s specific ear position while providing dynamic head tracking that the company promises provides an immersive experience. There are also dynamic audio features for adjusting noise cancellation levels. Promising 20 hours of playback time on a single charge (with ANC and Spatial Audio enabled), users can charge these headphones via USB-C, which also helps deliver lossless audio.
On the Walmart website, AirPods Max 2 holds an average of 4.2 stars, with 77% of customers rating it 4 stars or higher. Looking at what users are saying, high marks are given for their comfortable fit and overall build quality, with at least one user recommending the noise cancellation and transparent features. One user complained of having problems repairing the headphones after breaking them. However, considering that the AirPods Max 2 got some great upgrades in April, you might want to take advantage of the significant savings.
