If you look at all the usual websites for 3-in-1 MagSafe chargers for iPhone, Apple Watch, and AirPods, you will find hundreds of options made of plastic. They all work well, but sometimes you might want something that feels more premium. The NOCO XGrid XDS3 is one of those options. It’s certainly not the most affordable option on the market, but it’s undoubtedly one of the best (and best looking)
MagSafe Monday: Every Monday, Bradley Chambers looks at the latest and greatest in the MagSafe wireless charging industry to help you get the most out of your Apple devices that support wireless charging.

The build quality is the first thing I’m proud of with the NOCO XGrid XDS3. It uses a precision metal chassis, so it’s balanced and won’t rise when you take the device out. When you hold your iPhone on it, you don’t need to hold the base down with your other hand. The NOCO XGrid XDS3 stays planted where you put it.
Because it’s a vertical stand rather than a flat pad, it’s compatible with StandBy mode. You can place your iPhone horizontally to see the time, your calendar, etc., while working at your desk or lying in bed. It also has a very nice embossed design that looks clean, which helps your setup to avoid clutter.
NOCO XGrid XDS3: checks all the boxes
While we may eventually see Qi2.2 in a future model, this stand checks all the boxes you could want. Qi2 certified, it delivers up to 15 watts of wireless charging to your iPhone.
Where most MagSafe chargers tend to cut corners is the Apple Watch charger. They often use slow, unsecured chargers to save money. The NOCO XGrid XDS3 has an MFi-certified Apple Watch fast charger that can get the Series 10 watch from zero to 80% in half an hour. On the back of the watch, there’s a 5-watt pad dedicated to your AirPods, with an LED light that shows when it’s charging.
I hate it when an overpriced dock doesn’t include power adapters. If I pay a premium price, I want it all. NOCO delivers completely with the NOCO XGrid XDS3. Inside the box, you get a 45-watt USB-C wall charger, a 6.5-foot braided USB-C cable, and a set of interchangeable international plugs (NA/JP, EU, UK, AU). The international plugs are a nice bonus for me too.

If you’re looking for a cheap MagSafe charger, the NOCO XGrid XDS3 probably isn’t for you. However, if you’re looking to invest in a permanent, high-quality charging setup for your desk or nearby, the NOCO XGrid XDS3 is a great option.
It offers a stunning metal construction, MFi certification for Apple Watch and iPhone, Qi2 fast charging across the board, and includes all the necessary hardware. It is a premium product in every sense of the word. If it includes Qi2.2, it might be the last charger you buy.
You can buy the NOCO XGrid XDS3 directly from NOCO or from Amazon.
