Govee announced the new Outdoor Wall Floodlight (H3351)smart outdoor lighting that integrates bright white light, RGBWW color brightness, motion detectionagain The relevance of the story. The new hard-wired floodlight is designed to provide both safety lighting and decorative outdoor lighting, with support up to 3,000 lumens of light, adjustable white color temperatures, and millions of colors to create different outdoor scenes throughout the year.
WHITE WHITE LIGHT AND RGBWW colors
The Outdoor Wall Floodlight offers up to 3,000 lumens, making it ideal for lighting driveways, gardens, patios, and entryways. In addition to its white lighting capabilities, the setting uses RGBWW LEDs, allowing it to produce 16 million colors and adjustable white light from warmest 1,000K until it cools down 10,000K.
Users can choose from 84 preset lighting scenes (with the Govee app), which includes seasonal themes, holidays, and everyday ambient lighting, without the need to create custom effects.
GETTING THE MOVEMENT BUILT
A floodlight includes a 120º PIR motion sensor which can detect movement up to 14.6 meters (about 48ft) away. When motion is detected, the light can automatically activate user-defined lighting scenes, providing both security and comfort. This allows homeowners to configure the lighting to shine bright white for security, or trigger colored lighting effects according to their preference.
The company hasn’t said whether a built-in PIR sensor is featured in the Matter, though. Otherwise, motion events will only be available within the Govee app, rather than being used as triggers in Matter’s compatible home platforms. We will update this article when Govee clarifies the functionality of the Matter sensor.
DESIGNED FOR OUTDOOR USE
Measured IP65The Outdoor Wall Floodlight is designed to withstand year-round outdoor conditions, including rain and snow. The unit is intended for installation in hard-wired outdoor electrical boxes using the supplied mounting bracket.
INTELLIGENT HOME INTEGRATION
Communication is provided through 2.4GHz Wi-Fi again Bluetooth to set up and control with the Govee app. In addition to Matter support, the floodlight also works with Google Assistant, as well as Siri, for voice control. Owners with other Govee lighting products can also adapt the floodlight using the company’s own DreamView feature, which allows lighting effects to be integrated across multiple compatible devices.
