Find out how to set up Safari on iOS 27, iPadOS 27, and macOS 27 Golden Gate to notify you when a website publishes a new post, an out-of-stock item comes back in stock, concert tickets go on sale, and more.
I think we’ve all been there, anxiously waiting for an item to come back in stock, a price drop, a new company update to be pushed to the Newsroom website, or a registration to open a summer camp. In these cases, we keep visiting that site from time to time or hit refresh from time to time.
The new version of Safari on iPhone, iPad, and Mac adds a native ‘Notify Me’ feature that does this task for you. So, instead of you having to revisit or refresh the site, Safari can do this in the background every hour, daily, weekly, or monthly and notify you of the change.
But note that this new Safari feature only works on iPhone, iPad, and Mac that support Apple Intelligence.
Set Safari to notify you of website changes and updates
The basics are the same for both iOS and macOS.
1) Update your iPhone, iPad, or Mac to iOS 27, iPadOS 27, or macOS 27 Golden Gate (all currently in beta).
2) Open it Safari and visit the website. In this example, I visit Tesla’s store page for their NEMA Adapter bundle, which is currently running out.
3) Tap that menu icon in the address bar and select new Let me know option.

4) Tap a suggestion when you see it or manually specify what you want Safari to look for. Here are a few examples of what you can type in the box:
- Notify me when the item is back in stock.
- Notify me when the pre-order opens.
- Notify me when a new post is published.
If Safari can’t process what you typed, it will throw an error. Try changing your definition. I also found out that the Notify Me feature doesn’t work on all websites.
Second, allow Safari to send you notifications when it asks you to.
5) After setting the description, press Organize and choose if you want Safari to check per hour, every day, every weekor every month. You can also change the time to something more relevant or relevant. For example, if you’re tracking the price drop of a meal from a restaurant that opens at 11 AM, set the time to something like 11:05 AM.
If you see a mistake, start over and don’t change the time.
6) Finally, tap the blue check mark icon to save the alert.
Safari will now run in the background and notify you of the change.
I set up this feature to notify me when a new post is published on the iDB website. And when that happens, it sends me a notification. I can tap the notification to visit that web page. And from there, I can decide to stop or continue receiving these notifications.

You can view them all in the browser settings.
iPhone or iPad
- Open iOS 27 Settingspress on Applications from the bottom, then select Safari in the application list.
- Scroll down and tap Let me know.
- You will see a list of all websites here. Select a website and click to edit what Safari is currently looking for. Or, change the time and frequency, or remove the alert altogether.
Mac
- Open it Safari and then click Safari > Settings from the top menu bar.
- Go to Websites tab.
- Click Let me know on the left side.
- use the Organize or Delete buttons next to the website to make changes.
Most websites today offer a built-in notification feature that notifies you of new posts. Also, if an item is out of stock, they can send you an alert or email. In my testing, these native options are more reliable than Apple’s new feature. But if you come across a website that doesn’t offer this, you can use the new Safari Let me know feature to get information.
