Given that typing is an important way to interact with the iPhone for common tasks such as messages, emails, browsing, social media, notes, passwords, searches, and general communication, having keyboard problems is understandably frustrating. If your iPhone keyboard feels less responsive, inaccurate, fuzzy, or weird with iOS 26, you’re not alone with these complaints.
There are other more aggressive tactics, such as disabling autocorrect entirely, but most users don’t find that desirable as they’ve grown accustomed to autocorrect.
Some users have already reported improvements with the iOS 26 keyboard with the iOS 26.3 update for example, so if you’re on an older version of iOS 26 make sure you update your system software to the latest version available. It’s possible that a future software update will also address these types of issues, so stay tuned, and stay tuned.
