Apple is launching new products next week, here’s what’s coming

Apple is holding a hardware launch event next week on March 4, and rumors indicate that many new products will be out in the past days as well. Here’s everything Apple is said to be launching next week.
iPhone 17e

The iPhone 17 lineup has been great, and Apple has one more model to release next week.
The iPhone 17e will replace the iPhone 16e in Apple’s lineup. It is expected to start at the same price of $599, but with several key improvements:
- A19 chip
- Front center stage camera
- MagSafe support
- C1X and N1 wireless chips
- Maybe: Dynamic Island instead of notch
It’s unclear how well the iPhone 16e sold, but the new 17e easily feels like a strong product overall.
A18 iPad and M4 iPad Air

Two new iPads are expected to be unveiled next week: the A18 base iPad and the iPad Air with the M4 chip.
The basic design of both iPads is expected to remain the same as their predecessors, as these will mostly be spec bump updates.
Of the two, the biggest improvement will be the iPad base thanks to the A18 unlocking Apple Intelligence support.
Additional iPadOS features rely on Apple Intelligence, and will continue to do so. With the A18 chip, the new iPad will be able to support the new Siri later this year, as well as all the existing AI features.
The New ‘MacBook’

Apple discontinued its basic ‘MacBook’ model a few years ago, but a revival is expected next week.
The new MacBook is rumored to feature:
- 12.9-inch display
- A18 Pro chip
- 8GB RAM
- Fun color options
- Approximate price $699
It won’t be the best computer for everyone, but Apple will likely position it as a good option for PC and Chromebook switchers who already have an iPhone.
MacBook Pro with M5 Pro and M5 Max

The M5 MacBook Pro was launched a few months ago in October, but only the 14-inch model with the base M5 chip.
Next week, the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro with M5 Pro and M5 Max chips are expected to be launched.
No design changes are forthcoming, as those are reserved for the refreshed M6 model later this year. However, the new MacBook Pros will undoubtedly provide impressive performance and be positioned as the best laptops for AI tasks.
Additional products to be introduced: New Studio Display, M5 MacBook Air, Mac Studio

While the above products are widely seen as near-certainties for launch next week, there are a few additional devices that have a good chance of coming out as well.
The M5 MacBook Air is the most likely of the bunch. Apple released the M4 model around this time last year, and the MacBook Air line-up appears to be back at Apple stores.
Rumors indicate that a new display for Apple Studio and M5 Mac Studio might be ready.
The Studio Display 2 is expected to have a 120Hz ProMotion display, HDR support, and an A19 chip.
Apple’s new Mac Studio will come in M5 Max and M5 Ultra variants—the first Ultra chip since the M3 generation.
