The Galaxy S26 series is the latest series of phones from Samsung, adding great and new features. For example, the new privacy screen feature on the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra allows users to make the screen invisible at side angles. If we talk about the S26 Ultra, it is the most expensive version of the phone series with the biggest improvements overall. But that can be offset by the great introductory deals that Samsung and other retailers are currently offering, especially if you have an old device to trade in.
To boost the competition a bit, Amazon has a discount of $200 less than what Samsung is currently offering. Not only is the 512GB model of Samsung’s Galaxy S26 Ultra $200 cheaper on Amazon, but you can get a $200 Amazon gift card with your purchase as well.
For a limited time, the Galaxy S26 Ultra is $1,299.99 on Amazon. You can save up to $550 off that price with eligible trade-ins. By comparison, the unlocked Galaxy S26 Ultra 512GB model costs $1,499 at Samsung, but you can get up to $900 off with eligible trade-ins. They deal at the same price with discounts and offers. Amazon says the gift card can be shipped separately, though, so keep that in mind. Plus, the gift card is exclusive to Amazon — so you can’t use it anywhere else — but if you’re planning to spend $200 on Amazon anyway, it’s a solid way to save money.
What’s new in the Galaxy S26 Ultra?
That privacy screen feature is really great, and frankly, the smartest idea to use when you’re out and about and don’t want strangers to see your messages or screen content. It might fix one of the MacBook’s biggest problems, too, which is that it doesn’t have a way to deal with sensitive content on the screen without lowering the brightness.
But it’s not the only new thing in the Galaxy S26 series. Samsung says the design is noticeably lighter and lighter than previous generations while retaining the stylish elegance the Galaxy brand is known for. Samsung has also integrated intuitive AI into the software experience, which includes “content awareness and actionable suggestions.” For example, if a friend asks you to plan or schedule a get-together, the AI can check your calendar, see the conflict, and give you a “snooze” notification as a reminder so you don’t schedule two events at once.
Also, the Circle to Search feature lets you circle almost anything on the screen to perform automated web searches using AI to learn more. Find out what kinds of clothes are worn, look at a picture of your favorite product, search for words or phrases in your books or documents – you name it.
