Best Buy Canada may have just released the official details for 2026 Mario Day, over
MAR10/Coming soon
We just got a hint of what’s coming for Mario Day 2026 here in the US from Nintendo Australia’s official post about the Switch 2 console bundle, and Best Buy Canada may have just given us a sneak peek at the upcoming deals.
Although there are no specific data and hard numbers here, the official blog of Canadian Best Buy recently posted about its upcoming Mar10 Day 2026 celebration, and it might give us an idea of what’s to come. It could also be a sign that an official US announcement will come today.
First up we get what looks like some official artwork for this year’s Mario Day celebration – so far all the essential art has included both the regular MAR10 text and Super Mario Bros. 40th anniversary monikers – Best Buy Canada too (seen above).
Update: It seems that this important art has been revealed as part of a quiet and brief update about the official Nintendo NEW YORK Store’s Mario Day plans:
MAR10 Day festivities are coming to Nintendo NEW YORK
40 years of the first Super Mario Bros.™ game!
Join us at the Nintendo NEW YORK store from 5 to 7 pm on Tuesday, March 10 for a chance to meet Mario and take a photo with him.

Generally the Canadian Mario Day deals aren’t nearly as wide or deep as they are here in the US and Best Buy Canada’s post doesn’t actually mention specific prices. But it lists a series of titles that seem like people don’t deserve a price drop here in the US – Nintendo usually drops some of the older Switch games during Mario Day so people can get a discount – one of the important ones mentioned here is Super Mario Party Jamboree – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Jamboree TV for Nintendo Switch 2 (if there was a Switch 2 for one year) could be included in this deal.

Best Buy Canada also mentions some official accessories that appear to be deals this year:
- Samsung Super Mario 256GB microSD Express Card for Switch 2
- PowerA Wireless Controller for Nintendo Switch – Mario Joy
- PowerA Advantage Wired Controller for Switch 2 – Mario Time
- Belkin charging case for Switch 2
The post goes on to mention some of the LEGO sets that have already been released that may see discounts for Mario Day 2026 here in the US.
And none of this says too much about what’s going to happen this year, but it also may have just given us the official list of incoming gaming deals and given us a look at the official main art of this year’s celebration.
