New Milwaukee Reciprocating Saw Blades Coming in 2026

A reciprocating saw, sometimes called a Sawzall, is a very useful and versatile tool, but its capabilities are largely defined by the quality of the blades you pair with it. To that end, Milwaukee is launching a new line of reciprocating saws in April and July 2026, which the company says offers significant improvements.
This new launch will include nine new saw products as part of its Nitros Carbide line, which promises faster cuts and longer blade life. In a press release, Milwaukee Product Manager Joseph Stehlik says “With Nitrous Carbide, we’re pushing the limits of what users should expect from a blade.” He added, “From a few blade changes to fast cutting through wood and fasteners, this blade represents our continued commitment to delivering solutions that allow residential remodelers, and demo workers to work quickly and efficiently.”
This is mainly down to an improved tooth geometry that increases durability, promising twice the life time compared to standard carbide models. The new Milwaukee blades also feature the company’s patented Nailguard and Fangtip technologies, which protect the blades when cutting metals and ensure easy plunge cuts. Prices start at $13.97 for a 6-inch blade and go up from there. Let’s dive into the blade products that Milwaukee is introducing and how much they will cost.
Wood and nails for cutting blades are plentiful
As previously mentioned, Milwaukee is introducing nine new product SKUs. But it may surprise you to know that they are all the same type of razor. Although they will be available in various lengths and will be sold individually or in packs, they are all 5 TPI (teeth per inch) AXs designed for cutting wood and nails. Milwaukee does not release low TPI blades for fast, aggressive cutting, nor does it release any high TPI blades designed specifically for cutting metal or smaller materials.
Milwaukee will charge $13.97 for 6-inch, $16.97 for 9-inch, and $20.97 for 12-inch blades. These will also be sold in 3-packs, with the 6-inch priced at $39.97, the 9-inch priced at $47.97, and the 12-inch priced at $58.97. If you really think you will use these blades a lot, you can invest in one of the 5 packs. These run $62.97 for 6 inches, $74.97 for 9 inches, and $92.97 for 12 inches. The 9-inch blade was introduced in April, and the rest are planned for July.
Those prices are significantly higher than Milwaukee’s 5 TPI AX blades already on the market, and they’re more expensive than competing offerings from brands like the Bosch-owned Diablo. However, the extra durability may justify the price. Either way, fans of the company may want to keep an eye out for when these hit shelves in the coming months.
