The Samsung Galaxy S26 series is here, so which device do you want to buy?

It’s been just over a week since Samsung launched the Galaxy S26 series, and now that the dust has settled, we want to know which model you’re planning to buy. Are you looking for the ultra-small Galaxy S26, the mid-sized Galaxy S26 Plus, or the large and premium Galaxy S26 Ultra? Vote in our latest poll and let us know which model you prefer and why (or why you don’t plan to buy any of the Galaxy S26 models).
That’s what the Galaxy S26 models offer
The Samsung Galaxy S26 series is not a huge departure from its predecessor in terms of design. There are notable changes across devices, such as a similar design language and an improved camera design with three main sensors sitting on top of the vertical housing.
Apart from the design, there are significant changes in the specifications of each phone. The S26 series is powered by the Galaxy’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, which sees some impressive benefits with Qualcomm’s latest chip. As usual, the base S26 and Plus will be powered by the Exynos 2600 in select markets.
The base Galaxy S26 remains the smallest model, but the display size has increased from 6.2 to 6.3 inches compared to the Galaxy S25. It also has a larger 4,300mAh battery and 256GB of base storage, double that of its predecessor.
The Galaxy S26 Plus gets a few changes this generation, sporting 20W fast wireless charging. Other than that, it hasn’t changed much from its predecessor except for the new Snapdragon processor. However, you still get a large battery, 45W fast charging, and a large display, for those who need more real estate.
Then there’s the Galaxy S26 Ultra, which has the first privacy display on a smartphone. A new feature that uses a different pixel on the screen to hide content from viewers. It can be customized to be, so it can only work for certain apps or only for notifications, negating the need for a separate privacy screen saver.
The Galaxy S26 has also improved the main and telephoto cameras, with wider apertures for better night-time and low-light photography.
Of course, these new smartphones come with Galaxy AI improvements, with an improved Search Circle, Bixby for improved chat, new AI photo editing features, and Gemini for the agent that can do tasks for you.
All of this looks and sounds great, though keep in mind that the price of the S26 and S26 Plus has gone up in the US by just $100, meaning you’re paying a hefty premium for this upgrade.
