Amazon just brought down the most affordable M5 MacBook Pro you can buy for the lowest price yet and it’s one of the best prices of the year. $200 off original list price and $300 less than the least expensive M5 MacBook Pro that Apple sells.

Amazon is now offering the Apple M5 MacBook Pro with 16GB of RAM and 512GB SSD down $1,399.99 shipped. This device originally cost $1,599 and is now $200 less than that.

Along with the unveiling of the new pro-grade M5 chips, Apple also completely dropped the upper-tier 512GB M5 MacBook Pro, leaving the official first-in-the-list price at $1,699 for the new 1TB model.

However, while Apple no longer sells the cheapest 512GB model, Amazon still has it in stock and it’s now $300 less than Apple’s most affordable model.
