MacBook Neo

Apple’s exciting new MacBook Neo is already taking off $599 – that’s amazing even without the discount if you ask me (at least by Apple’s standards) – but there are no launch week cash deals yet. That said, Best Buy is still offering the same $25 credit it had during the pre-order phase, but only to paid Plus and Total members.

Apple is making headlines with the new MacBook Neo, and rightly so with $599 the original price. While we’re yet to see any direct cash discounts like we’re on the brand new M5 MacBook Air and M5 Pro MacBook Pro right now, there are some “excellent units” unboxing Best Buy at the bottom of the list right now.

While this is not a huge price drop, people looking to get the lowest price may want to consider these options. They ship with Apple’s 1-year warranty and considering how new these devices are, you’d think they’d be in “pretty good” condition – they might even be low-end models.

There may be people who are waiting for the units in the first “pretty good” opened box condition to show up at Best Buy, so these units are fast.

More details on Best Buy’s open box units:

  • Geek squad confirmed
  • Works and looks like new. Restored to factory settings.
  • Includes all parts and accessories. Packaging may or may not be available.
  • 1 year warranty

Ahead of the launch, earlier this week, we saw Amazon deliver the best prices online for the new M4 iPad. It was offering straight cash discounts on several wireless models, gift cards, and no membership requirements, just straight deals.

All of this remains true from launch day, but now you’ll find more colors in all four storage categories that carry the original deals. Amazon still has the longest price drop here, bringing up to $100 off the top tiers, but Best Buy is now matching the last two most affordable tiers — 128GB and 256GB — to give people some options, or just accept the store credit you might have waiting in the holster.

Amazon has the current most affordable Apple iPad down to $299 today (All colors)

While there were rumors that it would update the base model of the iPad as part of its late winter / early spring launch schedule, Apple is focusing on the new MacBook lineup and the improved M5 iPad Air. And now with the launch deals now live on the new Air, Amazon has decided to drop all current models of the iPad 11 so far. $299 shipped.

Amazon now offers all four colors of the most affordable current generation iPad $299 shipped. This model was launched last year with a list price of $350 and now you’ll find all colors starting at $299.

While we’ve seen this price a few times in the past and it dropped to $279 on Black Friday last year, it’s been a few months since we’ve seen all four colors of the most affordable final tier sitting this low. If you’re looking for an inexpensive and rare iPad option right now, this is the best price in a new condition.

At the time of writing, Best Buy charges $329, for example.
