How to watch Chinese Grand Prix 2026: stream live F1 race from anywhere

If there were lingering doubts about the details of Mercedes’ title win, George Russell and Kimi Antonelli went the right way to address them. A week after getting a one-2 for the Silver Arrows, they closed the front row of the Chinese GP Sprint grid. It starts at 3am GMT, and will be followed by Qualifying at 7am GMT.

A preview of the Chinese Grand Prix 2026
The gap between Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton was much closer than many expected last weekend, but Ferrari’s significant gamble was reduced slightly in Sprint Qualifying. With the Shanghai International Circuit featuring one of the longest tracks on the F1 calendar, the Scuderia decided to use its new rotating rear wing – named ‘flip-flop’ and ‘Macarena’ – in Practice 1.
However, it is still a work in progress and, therefore, it was later removed. Hamilton managed to secure fourth place on the grid, however, between McLaren’s Lando Norris in third and Oscar Piastri in fifth. Leclerc is one place back in sixth.
And let’s not forget that off the line, Ferraris are roads ahead of everyone else. So much so that Russell is campaigning for a change in the law clearly in the interests of safety.
We will show you how to watch the live broadcast of the Chinese Grand Prix from anywhere in the world.
