The iPhone Fold will reportedly be able to run two iPhone apps alongside a large internal display, which will be roughly the size of a smaller iPad display. Apple is also modifying its apps to support this mode’s sidebars, and third-party developers will be able to modify their apps to use them. The iPhone Fold, however, will lack much of the multitasking capabilities of iPadOS and won’t be able to directly run iPad-optimized apps.
