From Matrix to ‘bar’: Nothing beats the controllable mini LEDs of the Phone 4a

What you need to know

  • Nothing has gone from its Glyph lighting history on the X before the tease that comes with the Phone 4a series.
  • Instead of the Glyph Matrix, the Phone 4a will feature a Glyph Bar, although nothing shines in clear detail, except to shed light on its perceived design.
  • There is nothing funny about the fact that its big revelations will take place on March 5.

It’s almost two weeks until Nothing’s grand reveal, and the company is fanning the flames with some rumors of the Phone 4a.

This afternoon (Feb 20), Nothing started a long series on X talking about the Glyph interface (via 9to5Google). The company highlighted the Phone 3a series, which offered a variant of the Glyph Lighting array. Those models offered three LED strips for order progress, notifications, and the like. However, when it came to phone 3, it became even smaller, as Nothing collapsed it into a small circle with symbols.
