The Galaxy S26 series is almost here! Are you excited about Samsung’s next big flagship?

We’re less than a week away from Galaxy Unpacked, and there’s something to be excited about. The Samsung Galaxy S26 series is expected to be fully revealed at this event, and although we don’t know everything yet, rumors and leaks have painted a pretty good picture of what to expect. Not to mention that Samsung has already started teasing their next phones, which means that the best train has already left the station.
Looking at leaks and rumors, we want to know how you feel about the upcoming Galaxy S26 series. Are you excited about flags?
What we expect to see in the Galaxy S26
From the outside, the Galaxy S26 series may not look like a big departure from the Galaxy S25 series. The design is expected to be largely the same, featuring curved phones with flat sides and sharp corners. The displays also appear flat, as do the back panels.
Speaking of displays, the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to feature a new privacy screen that hides the contents of your display from onlookers. It’s a fascinating piece of technology that will defy the need for a privacy screen protector.
Meanwhile, the leaked rendering shows that, instead of the cameras coming out individually as in the S25 series, the three main sensors will reside in vertical housings. Additional sensors on the S26 Ultra will sit directly on the back plate.
We also have an idea of the colors these phones could come in, including Sky Blue, Cobalt Violet, White, and Black.
Regarding the Galaxy S26 specs, the phones are expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, which may have the word “for Galaxy” and more umph. That being said, the Galaxy S26 and S26 Plus may be powered by the Exynos 2600 chipset in certain regions, which would be an improvement over the Exynos 2500.
We can expect at least 12GB of RAM in the base and Plus, while the Ultra may be equipped with 16GB, like the S25 series. One difference may be that the base S26 may ditch the 128GB model and come in only 256GB and 512GB models, similar to the Plus. With any luck, this won’t result in a price increase.
Otherwise, it looks like the camera specs should be the same: the S26 and S26 Plus will reportedly have a 50MP triple camera system, while the S26 Ultra may have a 200MP quad camera system. The latter may come with larger apertures on some lenses, which should help capture more light and improve low-light photography.
Battery specs are rumored to be 4,300mAh, 4,900mAh, and 5,000mAh for the S26, S26 Plus, and S26 Ultra, respectively. This means that the base model gets a welcome upgrade, which we like to see. However, only the Ultra can get a bump in wireless charging speed to 60W, which sounds very attractive. Unfortunately, it looks like the built-in magnets aren’t going away either, so cases may be required for Qi2 wireless charging.
Finally, we expect phones to run One UI 8.5 out of the box, with improvements, new features, and an improved Bixby experience.
Let us know if you are excited about Samsung’s upcoming phones and if so, what are you most excited about!
