When is the Samsung Galaxy S26 coming out?
The entire Samsung Galaxy S26 lineup — which includes the base model S26, the more modest S26 Plus, and the more powerful Galaxy S26 Ultra — is set for a worldwide release on March 11. Which phones are included in the Galaxy S26 series?
Similar to previous Samsung flagships, the Galaxy S26 series includes the base model S26 alongside the Galaxy S26 Plus and the premium Galaxy S26 Ultra. That means that the starting price of the phones will now be $899.99 again $1,099.99respectively, while the Galaxy S26 Ultra will remain available $1,299.99 in the 256GB configuration. With prices rising this high, it’s clear that deals like pre-order opportunities are more important than ever.
I already own a Samsung phone. Should I upgrade to Galaxy S26?
This one is slow. After all, the Galaxy S25 series (released in early 2025) is still slated to get six years of OS/security upgrades, so if you own last year’s flagship, there’s little reason to upgrade unless you really want to.
