Samsung has just launched pre-orders for the new Galaxy S26 Ultra. Samsung has long been considered alongside Apple as one of the top smartphone manufacturers on the market. A number of great Samsung Galaxy phones have been made available in the past year, and this latest addition to the company’s lineup seems to be no exception.
The phone is 7.9mm thick, weighs 214g, and has a 6.9-inch display. It is powered by an advanced AI processor with an integrated NPU, GPU, and CPU that promises to be 19% faster than previous generations. In addition, it has a 200 MP wide F1.4 lens that Samsung promises to “deliver clear and detailed videos even in low-light environments with a wide aperture of 47% improved brightness”. Samsung also claims that the phone’s battery can keep the screen on for up to 31 hours of continuous video playback and can reach a 75% recharge after half an hour on the charger. In addition, the pièce de resistance of the phone its brand new privacy display. This lets people peek over your shoulder to see what’s on your phone, as viewing the device at an angle will make the screen appear dark and invisible. You can even specify whether the entire screen, specific apps, or notifications are blocked from view.
Add this to the already existing features of the Samsung Galaxy S26 that make the line harder to beat, and it’s easy to see why fans of the brand are excited about this particular model. Where can you get the Samsung Galaxy 26 Ultra and how much does it cost?
The Samsung Galaxy 26 Ultra has not been released yet. It was launched on February 25, 2026, and will be launched on March 11. Having said that, it is available for pre-order on Samsung’s website. There is a 256GB version for $1,299.99, a 512GB version for $1,499.99, and a 1TB version that goes for $1,799.99. Samsung also offers a trade-in deal that lets you get up to $900 off eligible devices. This is available in unlocked, Verizon, T-Mobile, and AT&T configurations, and you can get it in four standard colors: Cobalt Blue, Sky Blue, White, and Black. There are also two Internet exclusive colors: Silver Shadow and Pinkgold.
If you’re looking to get a phone somewhere other than Samsung itself, there are a few other retailers that offer their own perks. Amazon is currently selling pre-orders that include a version of the phone with enhanced storage at discounted prices while also including an Amazon gift card. Best Buy has the same advanced storage model on sale and is offering up to $900 worth of trade-in value for eligible devices. Meanwhile, carriers like T-Mobile and Verizon each have different deals where you can get big discounts when you sign up for one of their plans.
