LEGO Pokemon sets are here! Get your collection now!

It’s officially February 27th, 2026, which means today is a celebration of all things Pokémon! It’s been 30 years since the release of the original Pokémon Red and Blue games that started the entire franchise and became a global phenomenon. Between the release of a new game, an official pinball machine, and more – LEGO is making a splash as the first of its three new Pokémon sets hits shelves, complete with two GWP sets, too. You can get a rundown on these three sets that fans have been eagerly awaiting below.

Catch the famous gen 1 Pokémon in a brick-built format

Back in March, 2025, LEGO released a very exciting teaser of its collaboration with Pokémon in the form of a brief glimpse of Pikachu’s sparkly tail, culminating in the official appearance of three sets back in January 2026. Since that announcement, builders and trainers alike have been excited about Pokémon, and these new moves are now exciting them. they came out of the tall grass and made themselves available for filming – giving you some of the most popular animals of gen 1: Eevee, Pikachu, Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise.

What are the LEGO GWP sets during this release?

The first of two GWP sets during this event is the 40892 Kanto Region Badge Set that will accompany the purchase of 72153 Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise from February 27 to March 8, 2026 – but you’ll have to act fast, as stock is limited and will no doubt run out long before the day ends.

Next up in these GWP sets is the 40911 Mini Pokémon Center which comes as a redeemable internal reward for only 2,600 internal points starting today. While there’s never been a hint that this is a limited GWP to redeem, that doesn’t mean it’s unlikely to run out of stock, like the set above, so if you’ve got points, I’d jump in to secure yours ASAP.

Three LEGO Pokémon sets are now available for grabs!

With this new release, you’ll be able to bring home five of the original popular Pokémon types, starting with the highly-available 72151 Eevee $59.99 shipped. This is probably my personal favorite, as I was always busy collecting and trading as many Eevees in the game as I could find to have an array of different transformations. Here’s hoping we’ll be getting those changes in future releases!

The next set on this list is the 72152 Pikachu and Poké Ball set $199.99 shippedit gives you a dynamic piece of everyone’s favorite mouse that pops out of its Poké Ball next to an electric brick. Of course, you can remove Pikachu from the base plate and set it up however you want, especially with the adorable face up on the coffee table, for example.

Finally, the most suitable set to display the large and complex set of 72153 Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise brings a very large tag $649.99 shipped. Even if the price tag is a little intimidating, I can’t see this set staying in stock for long, especially considering the 40892 Kanto Region Badge Set that comes with it.
