What you need to know
- Motorola briefly teased its Razr Fold on social media, saying all will be revealed during MWC 2026.
- It says that users can expect to know more about this model on March 2, which we hope will hold information about its launch date.

Motorola posted a short teaser about its upcoming Razr Fold on social media, and it comes with an announcement.
Motorola seems ready to reveal everything it can about its Razr Fold next, with a short teaser clip on X (via Android Headlines). The company leads with “Beyond the preview, in every detail.” The theater doesn’t offer much for eager users, as Motorola shows a model that unlocks the device before falling into the endless loop of unlocking the Razr Folds.
Basically, what we can get from this is that the device features rounded corners and a small rear camera view. However, the biggest takeaway is that Motorola seems ready to reveal everything about the Razr Fold during MWC 2026 on March 2.
This is just a few days away, as the conference will begin overseas. For interested users, this is (technically) not the first time Moto will show its Razr Fold. The company did it earlier this year during CES 2026, which gave us an idea of what to expect.
First preview
In January, during CES 2026, Android Central’s Harish Jonnalagadda met the Motorola Razr Fold during the event. He had about 15 minutes to see what the Razr Fold had to offer, and things looked promising in that brief experience. He noted color options such as Pantone Lily White and Pantone Blackened Blue, which had a “different” texture that Harish enjoyed.
Apart from that, we were able to use some important details about the folding style of the book. The Razr Fold is reported to have a 6.6-inch cover display and an 8.1-inch main display with 2K resolution. Additionally, the Razr Fold offers a 50MP Sony Lytia LYT-828, a 50MP Lytia LYT-600 with 3x optical zoom, and a 50MP ultrawide lens that can act as your main lens.
Android Central Take
I know one of my colleagues, Derrek Lee, has been eagerly waiting for Motorola to officially debut the Razr Fold. This is not without reason, as the preview of the device earlier this year held some promising details. We still have to wait for Moto’s official unveiling of the phone, to know everything in full detail. One thing we are sure of is that the Moto is going into direct competition with Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Fold 8 eventually. Fold 7 was incredibly popular, and we can expect more of that from 8. Motorola may find its own niche in this, though, and I’d love to see how it does that.
