The 10 best movies on Prime Video — here are three to stream this week (March 2-8)

Are you in the mood for new Prime Video streaming recommendations? If you’re hoping to include a movie night in your schedule but don’t want to head out to the movie theater, I’ve looked at streaming service charts and highlighted a few worthy picks for a watch list.
Amazon Stream is home to such a huge list of new movies and TV shows, and all that choice can make choosing your next watch a tall order. You can’t always rely on the Prime Video top 10 list for help, either; something can be trendy and no longer worth your precious viewing time, after all.
Prime Video top 10 movies
‘Operation Fortune: Ruse De Guerre’ (2023)
Watch it open
If it’s a simple action-comedy you’re after, you could do a lot worse than Guy Ritchie’s “Operation Fortune: Ruse De Guerre.” Sure, it’s not Ritchie’s best effort, and it didn’t fare too well with critics, but some moviegoers loved it — it’s 82% on Rotten Tomatoes’ Popcornmeter — and I think you could do a lot worse than streaming this star-studded action this week.
The film revolves around Orson Fortune (Jason Statham), a top spy who leads a crack team that includes stars like Cary Elwes and Aubrey Plaza. They are determined to save the world by preventing the sale of dangerous weapons technology used by arms businessman, Greg Simmonds (Hugh Grant). Along with some of the world’s best operatives, Fortune reluctantly recruits Hollywood star Danny Francesco (Josh Hartnett) to help them in their undercover mission to navigate the globe.

‘The Bluff’ (2026)
Watch it open
It feels like we don’t see a lot of action at sea on our screens these days, but if you’re in the mood for hacking, sword-swinging action, Prime Video’s latest “The Bluff” is the movie for you.
This bloody adventure movie introduces us to Ercell (Priyanka Chopra Jonas), an ex-criminal who is forced to protect everything he loves most when his past comes to light. She may find peace in the Cayman Islands with her husband, son, and sister-in-law, but when her former captain, Connor (Karl Urban), shows up for revenge, her world is turned upside down, and she’s drawn back to the deadly world she tried to turn her back on.

‘The Wrecking Crew’ (2026)
Watch it open
Despite premiering on Prime Video back in January, “The Wrecking Crew” is still one of streaming’s most popular watches, and if the idea of an old school buddy movie starring Jason Momoa and Dave Bautista appeals to you (and you somehow haven’t checked out the movie yet), then this could be the watch for you this week.
In “The Wrecking Crew,” we meet estranged brothers Jonny (Momoa) and James (Bautista), who are reunited after the mysterious death of their father. As they search for the truth, they discover a conspiracy that threatens to tear their family apart. Here’s what TG’s Malcolm McMillan said in his 2.5 star review of “The Wrecking Crew”: “It’s formulaic, loaded with movie tropes, but it’s too long and complicated for what it is, so it loses points for that. But it’s a blast to watch thanks to Jason Momoa and Dave Bautista, and some of the surprise elements are killer.”
