Android Central’s MWC 2026 Best in Show

As MWC 2026 draws to a close, we at Android Central are highlighting the products that stood out to us the most. Several of us were at the show, checking out tons of new products, including those that were up for grabs in our Best in Show awards, which we hosted alongside our sister sites TechRadar and Tom’s Guide.
So, without further ado, here are the products awarded Best in Show at MWC 2026!
Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra
The Galaxy S26 Ultra was presented before MWC 2026 at a separate Unpacked event, but its presence was still felt at the show. The phone takes things up a notch by packing Qualcomm’s latest chipset, which is only available in Samsung phones, while sporting a few notable upgrades that should help this phone stand out.
In addition to the bright 200MP camera and improved telephoto lens, the new Privacy Display comes as a first for a smartphone, allowing you to hide the contents of your screen from onlookers. I tried it myself and the result is, well… it works! Now you don’t need to bother with privacy screen protectors on your phone, although we still recommend you to get a standard Galaxy S26 Ultra screen protector!
Xiaomi 17 Ultra
Xiaomi is no stranger to making awesome camera phones, and the 17 Ultra is a masterstroke. The worldwide launch of the phone brings a 1-inch 50MP main camera to a wide audience, and it is clear that Xiaomi has been busy in the last year – its camera and its tuning algorithms are significantly better than the 15 Ultra and its predecessor. This alone makes the Xiaomi 17 Ultra one of the best camera phones.
What’s also notable is that the other cameras are just as good, and the new zoom lens is unique in the industry: It handles 3.2x to 4.3x mechanical zoom, and that’s not just what you see on a phone. It’s clear that Xiaomi is looking to make a statement, and the 17 Ultra definitely deserves the award.
Xiaomi Watch 5
The Xiaomi Watch 5 doesn’t look as good as the Pixel Watch 4, but that’s okay; its sheer size makes it a respectable presence, and its 1.54-inch OLED panel is one of the brightest in its class.
Xiaomi deserves credit for its ability to combine the best of Wear OS with its unique accessories, and this allows the Watch 5 to really stand out. Another plus point is battery life; thanks to the large silicon-carbon battery, the smartwatch easily lasts more than four days on a charge, and you rarely get that with other Wear OS products. Xiaomi’s health and fitness monitoring features are among the best around, and the Watch 5 doesn’t miss anything else.
Tecno Modular Phone concept
Modular phones never really took off, but the concept was always cool, and Tecno is reviving it with its latest concept. It starts with an unbelievably thin phone, measuring just 4.9mm, with separate areas on the back where you can attach various accessories with magnets. This includes a battery back, a speaker, a microphone, and a camera grip with a telephoto lens, allowing you to extend your field of view up to 20x! The best part: You can pack phone accessories for ultimate media storage.
Unfortunately, it’s just an idea, but it’s the best example of a modular phone I’ve seen in a long time. No wonder there was so much buzz at Tecno’s MWC booth.
Honor Magic V6
Honor has somehow managed to make its svelte folds even slimmer; The Magic V6 is one of the smallest devices in its class. But what really stands out is that Honor managed to do this while packing a bigger battery into the Magic V6. The foldable has great cameras too, and Honor’s software has a few cool features that close the gap with Samsung.
Interestingly, it also gets the same level of ingress protection as the Magic 8 Pro, and that’s another success in Honor’s favor – it’s just hard to build a foldable with IP69 dust and water resistance. The result is that Magic V6 is undoubtedly one of the best folders of 2026.
Respect the Robot Phone
The Magic V6 wasn’t the only thing that Honor showed off at MWC 2026. After teasing it for months, the company finally showed off the capabilities of its Robot Phone during the event. The device has a 200MP camera mounted on a three-axis gimbal, allowing you to use a smartphone almost like a DJI Osmo Pocket. The built-in gimbal helps capture smooth and stable videos even when moving. Honor also uses AI to power the motorized camera, so it can automatically track subjects and keep them in frame.
Besides, Robot Phone is playing again. It can nod, respond, and even dance based on its surroundings, giving the device some personality. Honor says the Robot Phone is intended to be a commercial product. It’s not available yet, but the company expects it to go on sale sometime in the second half of 2026.
MemoMind One
If the Meta Ray-Bans feel less like smart glasses and more like regular glasses with a camera and speakers, the MemoMind One from XGIMI, shown at MWC 2026, may be closer to what you expect. the truth smart glasses. Unlike the Meta method, MemoMind One includes a built-in projector that displays information directly in your field of view. Once you put them on, the glasses create a virtual screen that can show the time, phone notifications, news updates, and reminders. They also feature built-in speakers for calls, meeting recordings, and live translation.
The MemoMind One is still in development according to XGIMI, but the company expects the glasses to launch sometime in Q2 2026.
TCL NXTPAPER 70 Pro
The American market is finally getting the TCL NXTPAPER flagship. In a rare move, TCL will be bringing the NXTPAPER 70 Pro stateside soon with the unique NXTPAPER 4.0 display technology and high quality. The highlight is definitely the 6.9-inch FHD+ display, with a matte finish, e-paper viewing modes, and zero flicker. There’s also a minimalist smartphone mode that activates black and white paper to limit distractions and let you focus on your content.
Inside, you get a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor and a 5,200mAh battery. The camera system is capable, too, of a 50MP primary shooter. A slider on the side of the phone lets you switch between one full-color viewing mode and three e-paper modes.
While some low-end TCL phones like the 60 XE NXTPAPER 5G arrived in the country last year, getting a premium offering with user-friendly technology is exciting for US consumers.
Motorola Razr Fold
Motorola’s big win for MWC 2026 was the announcement that the Razr Fold will be supported for a full seven years of Android OS updates. The full specifications reveal the Razr Fold confirmed that the upcoming folding of Motorola will beat the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold in important ways, with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor and up to 16GB of RAM, although the highlight is the battery.
The company put a silicon-carbon battery inside the Razr Fold with a capacity of 6,000mAh, surpassing all foldables on the American market and falling short only when compared to the Honor Magic V6. It will also charge at speeds up to 80W via cable and 50W wirelessly. We also learned that the Razr Fold will sport a larger 8.1-inch, 2K OLED screen and a 6.6-inch external screen with a variable refresh rate of 165Hz. Another thing to like is Motorola’s Razr Fold design, with a square camera that doesn’t move on the table and a silky PANTONE finish.
All in all, it’s a solid attempt at Motorola’s big screen folding that should prove a real challenge to Samsung and Google in the US.
Lenovo ThinkTab X11
Lenovo’s “Think” line of products dominates the business space, and the company is taking it to the next level with the ThinkTab X11. This tablet has a rugged design and comes with an even more protective case, ensuring that it can handle even the toughest environments. It features a 10.95-inch 2.5K display, a highly capable Snapdragon 7 series chipset, a large 10,200mAh battery, and MIL-STD-810H/IP68 certifications for durability.
In addition, the battery is easily removable without the need for screws, and you can use it in battery-free mode with the corresponding adapter, thus there is little worry about battery damage, especially if the tablet is used regularly.
