We always recommend double-checking trade-in prices directly from Apple, and we’re here today. But considering the FREE credit available at retailers like Best Buy, and up to $800 worth of trade-in pricing on new M5 Pro/Max devices, this is also an option worth considering. Obviously you’ll get more cash on new gear, but again, be sure to double-check both Best Buy and Apple and remember to add in a $100 FREE gift card credit to the prices.

So far, we don’t see gift cards being offered in the iPad Air lineup, as expected. This will likely remain true for the pre-order category.

There are, however, trade-in deals to be had at Best Buy. Of course, you’ll want to check out what Apple has to offer just in case, but Best Buy can be generous with Apple’s new launches. It’s also offering its Best Buy Plus and Total members $50 off new Air models:

It is currently advertising the ability to get the new M4 iPad Air at a low price $249 shipped for selective trading. You’ll need to have good condition gear and a new release to see a price like that, but it’s worth a shot to double-check the prices if it’s offering you more than Apple will.
