I used the OPPO Find N6 – this is the unmovable folder I’ve been looking for

Chinese brands are pushing the boundaries of foldable technology, and OPPO once again proves that point with the launch of the Finda N6. The foldable builds on the success of last year’s Find N5, with minor tweaks to the design to make it easier to hold and use, as well as a range of new colors.
The biggest improvement this year is around the interior panel; the Find N6 has a seamless panel with no visible creases, and is a milestone in the evolution of folders. OPPO calls this the Zero-Feel Crease, and it’s made possible by the combination of a new hinge structure and a new flexible display.
Basically, the Find N6 has a new hinge mechanism unlike any other foldable device, and results in the device having a completely flat internal panel without any visible crease. I’ve been using the Find N6 for the better part of two days now, and the creaseless interior panel makes such a big difference that I don’t want to switch to a foldable one.

You can still make a crease in the middle if you see the fold at an off-axis angle, but it’s much less pronounced than what you get with the Z Fold 7, or the Vivo X Fold 5. And in normal use, I didn’t notice a crease at all.
I like the design of the Find N6 quite a bit too; I got the orange variant, and the pastel color gives the foldable a much better presence than last year’s Find N5. The matte texture is nice to hold, and it’s nice to see that the LED flash module is also orange in color. The central frame has a rose gold color with orange highlights. and rounded edges and flat sides with minimal bevels make using the Find N6 very easy.
Going into small details about the flawless technology, OPPO uses the new titanium Flexion Hinge on the Find N6, and uses a 3D printing process designed to create a perfectly centered plate. The main limitation with the hinge design is the small height difference that leads to the various components that make up the hinge structure, and by using liquid printing, OPPO claims to have been able to overcome these issues.
The new hinge has an increased folding radius that reduces mechanical stress on the panel, and that should prevent any deterioration of the inner panel even with prolonged use. OPPO stands by the technology, saying the Find N6 is guaranteed to fold 600,000 times.
This is due to the Auto-Smoothing Flex Glass used by the product instead of the usual Ultra-Thin Glass (UTG) that you see in most folders; this flexible glass layer has a better resistance to deformation, and allows the inner panel to maintain its structure much better.
I usually like to use a roll-up, but I’ve been reluctant to use one as a day long for more than a month or two. At first, it was weighty, but that’s not an issue with the 2026 – the latest foldables are as easy to hold and use as traditional bar phones, and incredibly thin when unfolded.
Even the cameras have gotten better over the past 15 months, and while the foldable isn’t quite up to par with the Vivo X300 Pro or Find X9 Pro, it’s not a limiting factor. With the Find N6, OPPO brings a foldable that is as good as the Find X9 models, and the seamless panel is a good start. I can’t talk about everything else folding yet, but I will share my full results in my Find N6 review.
