Samsung Glasses-free 3D games get 120 reasons to be

Samsung is trying to convince you that 3D gaming is not just an afterthought left in the past. The company announced this week that it’s expanding its Odyssey 3D glasses-free gaming monitor library, and the numbers are starting to look decent.

The monitor already supports over 60 titles with Odyssey 3D Hub. But Samsung says they are on track to hit more than 120 games by the end of 2026. Two recently confirmed additions include action-adventure horror Hell Is Us, arriving this month, and survival horror title Cronos: The New Dawn from Bloober Team, due later this year. Both will be on display at GDC 2026 in San Francisco, where Samsung is hosting hands-on demo sessions.

The games you can play without glasses keep growing

Samsung’s 3D games library already includes The First Berserker: Khazan, Stellar Blade, Lies of P: Overture and MONGIL: STAR DIVE. These are not small indie experiments from unknown studios either. The company is also working with major developers like CD PROJEKT RED to integrate its display technology into games like Cyberpunk 2077, though that partnership is currently focused on HDR10+ GAMING rather than direct 3D support.

All of these games run through the Odyssey 3D Hub, Samsung’s dedicated platform for 3D content. The monitor does the heavy lifting with built-in eye tracking and a map view that adjusts depth in real time based on where you’re sitting.

Why this 3D monitor really works

Odyssey 3D doesn’t ask you to wear glasses or sit still. It relies on advanced eye tracking to adjust the illusion in real time based on your location. That means you can walk around, lean back or kneel in your chair without breaking the effect.

Samsung says the technology also addresses the motion sickness problem that plagued older 3D displays. The monitor operates at a refresh rate of 165Hz with a response time of 1ms, so depth is maintained even during fast camera movements, gunfights and high-speed cuts. The company says this approach avoids the eye strain traditionally associated with 3D screens.

You get two size options right now. A 27-inch model is available, and Samsung plans to launch a 32-inch version later this year. Both deliver glasses-free 3D without sacrificing performance.

What you can watch in push 3D games

You’ll see the progress firsthand at GDC 2026 this month. Samsung is holding demo sessions where journalists and industry insiders can play Hell Is Us in 3D before the public release. Those first impressions will tell us if eye tracking lives up to the promise.

Samsung’s bet is that a large enough game library will eventually make glasses-free 3D the norm. If you’re considering Odyssey 3D, the next few months are crucial. March brings Hell Is Us, and all of 2026 will decide if the company reaches its target of 120 games. Currently, the library is growing faster than anyone expected for a 3D display.
