Spigen celebrates 50 years of Apple with retro accessories inspired by the Mac

Spigen has built a solid reputation for making some great Apple accessories that also scratch that uncontrollable itch. Their C1 collection, similar to the popular transparent iMac G3 from the early 2000s, is one of my favorite accessories of any brand. They then followed that up with the Classic LS iPhone case, which draws inspiration from iconic Apple products like the original Macintosh 128K and the Apple Lisa. And now Spigen has doubled down on that design by releasing two new accessories for the Classic LS line: the Classic LS Wallet and the Classic LS AirPods Pro case. These will be the ultimate conversation starters. Here’s what you need to know.
The LS bag is one of those accessories that just stands out because of its looks. The amount of detail that went into designing this bag is insane. Looks like I can put a floppy disc in here (comment below if you remember what that is). If you grew up in this Apple season, then you will see many Easter eggs: from the beige color to the cursive Hello to the Apple rainbow color. Not only does it look like a museum piece, but it’s also a MagSafe wallet. You get:
- Retro Mac inspired design right down to the line patterns and textures
- Floppy disk style accents and an Apple-ified Spigen logo
- Fits 3-4 cards in the wallet with easy access to whatever card you need
Spigen really knocked it out of the park with this one. Everything looks like it came from something that was built 50 years ago, but it’s still very high quality and will last you another 50 years.

Now this is the show stopper. Spigen really got creative with this one. They made an AirPods Pro case that looks like the original Macintosh Mouse. It’s clear that they put some thought into this because they made other parts of the accent work. For example, a mouse click actually works as a lock to ensure that the AirPods stay closed when not in use. Another nice touch is that the LED indicator is set to act as a mouse light. You get:
- Macintosh Mouse-inspired design
- Precise cutting for everything you need
- How to lock
- It still works and charges wirelessly
- includes a lanyard for easy carrying
My biggest fear was that the case would be too big to allow for wireless charging, but it turns out it can still charge and align magnetically without problems.

Hands-on experience
I think Spigen has nailed that middle ground between real functionality, usability, but also a retro look and nostalgia. When you pull out your AirPods or your wallet, someone will 100% be asking you about this. These accessories have been thoughtfully designed to make sure they pay homage to Apple’s 50th anniversary technology. The magnetic strength of the wallet is amazing and you can feel confident that your cards will fit neatly into the wallet. Cards don’t stick, and they don’t fall if you only have one or two cards. So this accessory looks good but also works.
The same can be said for the AirPods case. You get this really cool piece of history while also protecting your AirPods. The locking mechanism that doubles as a real mouse clicker was brilliant. It’s both a fidget toy and makes sure that if you clip your AirPods case, your AirPods won’t fly everywhere. The material of both feels premium yet secure, so you know it will survive a lot of drops, scrapes, and scratches. The included lanyard is also nice. They left a lot of room for those who like to charge their AirPods with a cable for faster charging, but, as I mentioned above, MagSafe wireless charging also works well.
Price and availability
As I said, there are four complete products of the Classic LS collection. You have the Classic LS iPhone case for $39.99, the Classic LS AirPods Pro 3 case for $24.99, the Classic LS MagFit wallet case for $29.99, and the Classic LS wrist lanyard for $19.99. You can find them all on Amazon, and they even sell them in bulk if you want to save money by getting more than one. iPhone case only for iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max, and they only make AirPods case for AirPods Pro 3 as of now. AirPods Pro 3 is on sale for only $209! Then, of course, the Magsafe case will work with any iPhone that supports Magsafe!
Final thoughts
Spigen continues to create unique accessories that scratch the nostalgic itch that many people seem to be looking for. The accessories are well priced, very well made, and just a breeze. It feels like accessories these days look a lot alike, so when a brand comes out with something different like this, it’s always fun to try and use. If you’re in the market for new accessories for your Apple ecosystem or have to buy a gift for an Apple user, these are a no-brainer! Let me know what you think. Can you use these?
