The Oppo Watch X3 will officially be made of titanium and trace sugar

Oppo has officially launched the Watch X3 alongside the Find N6, confirming a slim 47.4mm body, a 3,000 nit display and a new glucose monitoring feature. The watch builds directly on previous teasers and leaks, bringing a titanium case, improved sensors and the same large 646mAh battery.
Original titanium unibody design with foil
One of the headline changes is what Oppo calls “integral titanium”. The Watch X3 uses a monoblock TC4 titanium chassis rather than a hybrid structure. In simple terms, this means that the structural frame is carved from a single piece of titanium instead of combining metal with internal plastic or composite layers.
That’s not a small change. Titanium is harder to machine than aluminum or steel, so moving to a complete unibody design implies a more complex manufacturing process. The result is a watch that is 16% lighter and 6.4% smaller than its predecessor, despite using a stronger material.
The case measures 47.4mm in diameter and 11.0mm in thickness, weighing 43g. The design also features a 12-sided bezel, giving the watch a slightly angular look. Interestingly, the Gravity Black version maintains a completely rounded appearance, setting it apart from other finishes.
Durability is always a strong point. The watch carries IP68, IP69 and 5ATM ratings, as well as MIL-STD-810H certification. Sapphire glass protects the display, which now reaches 3,000 nits under certain conditions such as outdoor exercise in sunlight.

Belt redesign and improved ergonomics
Oppo has also redesigned the cable system. The new “bamboo joint” design uses segmented fluororubber with metal connectors, allowing for more flexibility and airflow. It’s a small detail, but one that should improve comfort during long-term wear.
The Watch X3 supports standard 22mm bands, which opens up many third-party options. At the same time, the ownership balance has changed, so old straps from previous Oppo or OnePlus models will not work with this generation.

Glucose monitoring and intensive health tracking
The most notable improvement on the health side is continuous glucose monitoring. The watch can provide real-time readings and flag unusual patterns. It also adds blood pressure tracking and hypertension risk assessment.
And while this sounds impressive, it remains to be seen how this works in real life. Currently, there is no smart watch that can reliably measure blood sugar. The situation is not very different from blood pressure measurements – these are very good measurements.
Those features sit alongside an already extensive sensor package. Watch X3 includes ECG, vascular health analysis, heart rate tracking, SpO2, sleep monitoring with apnea detection and wrist temperature sensing.
Dual-chip system and sports features
Under the hood, Oppo continues to build two vehicles. The low-power BES2800 chip handles background tasks, while the Snapdragon W-series processor takes care of the most demanding workloads. Oppo has confirmed that this is not the new “Elite” model, although the actual version remains unclear.
The watch includes 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, running ColorOS 16 in China with updated graphics and haptics powered by the new X-axis engine.
Fitness tracking remains extensive. There are more than 100 sports modes, as well as metrics such as VO2 Max, lactate threshold, recovery time and aerobic training results. Dual-band GPS supporting L1 and L5 is included, alongside BeiDou, Galileo and GLONASS.
Battery life, charging and connectivity
Despite the smaller design, the battery capacity remains in the same range as before. The watch delivers up to 3 days under heavy use, about 5 days with normal use and up to 16 days in power saving mode.
Charging is handled via magnetic pins, with a full charge taking about 75 minutes. A short charge of 10 minutes can provide almost a day of use.
Connectivity includes Bluetooth 5.2, dual-band Wi-Fi and NFC. The Chinese version supports a standalone eSIM, while global support remains unconfirmed. Oppo has a history of limited eSIM availability outside of China, so this is something to watch.
Price and availability
The Watch X3 is available in Global Star Orange, Gravity Black and Infinite Titanium. Pricing starts at CNY 2,600, with an early bird offer bringing it down to CNY 2,210. The high-end finish comes in at CNY 2,800, reduced to CNY 2,380 during pre-orders.
Sales in China begin on March 20, with availability in other countries expected to follow.
