Apple’s 1st Gen 15W MagSafe charger is probably fast enough, especially starting at just $13 each.

Apple introduced the world’s fastest MagSafe charger last fall alongside the iPhone 16 – its latest 2nd-gen puck-style MagSafe charger is capable of delivering 25W of juice to the iPhone 16, and the iPhone 16 alone. In other respects it is very similar to the first generation model we have for sale here today – you can get one $14.99two of $27.99or three of $39.99all with free shipping for Prime members ($6 delivery fee will apply otherwise).

These original Apple MagSafe chargers carry a list price of $39 and are currently being sold at third-party sellers on Amazon for $35. That means we’re getting at least a 62% savings on one compared to Apple’s original list price and even more on a 3-pack where the price drops to just over $13 a pop.

What are you asking for? Because these are carry over units from the last production run and Apple decided to sell them for wholesale instead of packaging them for Retail.

And this is not the latest model, but otherwise it is almost the same and provides the same amount of power to any iPhone equipped with MagSafe as the latest model, except for the iPhone 16. As we have explained before, there is nothing wrong with a fast charging speed, that is true, but if you are anything like me 15W is often considered more than what you would consider as a fast and appropriate value today. some tools to throw in your EDC, travel kit, or around the home office.
