Amazon now has the 16GB 15-inch M4 MacBook Air for $350 less than Apple’s best-selling M5.

Joining several other notable deals on the M4 MacBook Air configuration and launch deals on the new M5 lineup, Amazon has now added a deal on the cheapest 16GB 15-inch M4 model to its first Big Spring Sale deals. Now you can find this model at $250 off its original list price and $350 less than the price on the more affordable M5 model.

Amazon is now offering the 15-inch M4 MacBook Air with 16GB of RAM and a 256GB internal SSD. $949 shipped. At the time of writing this deal is live in all four colors as well.

This configuration carries a list price of $1,199 and is now $250 less than the lowest price we can find. This deal matches the best price we’ve ever tracked on Amazon for this model, including Black Friday 2025 before the M5’s release.

It’s also worth noting the big discounts we’ve been tracking on the M4 model since the M5 came out have been on the more expensive machines, like the 16GB/512GB and 24GB/512GB models:

Apple no longer offers a 256GB configuration on the M5 models, and that means we get a higher entry price while also dropping the price on the higher RAM and storage models. Still, the M4 model above is $350 less than the cheapest 15-inch model you can buy on Amazon, or less than $300 with a launch deal:

Apple has launched the new M5 Pro MacBook Pro and we have launch deals for almost every model yet. But it has also upgraded the more affordable M5 MacBook lineup with higher storage tiers now starting at 1TB. And that means the 16GB/512GB model is now on sale at Amazon $1,399.99 it’s the most affordable M5 Mac you can buy. It’s $200 less than its launch price and less than the least expensive model you can find from Apple.

Amazon is now offering the M5 MacBook Pro in Space Black $1,399.99 shipped. This is configured with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage that you can no longer buy from Apple.

It launched for $1,599 in late 2025 and is now about $200 less than Amazon’s with seemingly very low stock. There may come a time when this setting is no longer available at all as Apple has officially done away with it.

The most affordable, entry-level M5 MacBook Pro you can buy officially from Apple includes the same 16GB of RAM but now comes with 1TB of storage and a list price of $1,699.

You can get this 1TB model from Amazon for $1,649 right now, but you’ll need/want that extra 512GB of storage to spend an extra $249 over the model featured above.

Just after seeing Amazon restock its discounted 24GB model for $300 this morning, it’s now offering the 512GB 15-inch M4 MacBook Air back at its best price ever, or $320 discount original list price.

Amazon is now also offering the Midnight 15-inch M4 MacBook Air 16GB/512GB $1,079 low time. This model was released last year with a list price of $1,399 and now it’s $320 less than that – we saw this low on Amazon last week before it was completely out of stock and now you have another shot at what we called one of the best MacBook Air deals in years.

Apple has released the new M5 MacBook Air, and it has one last bump in it. So while you can’t get the 16GB/512GB M5 MacBook Air for the lowest price on the new-generation models, it still carries a hefty list price of $1,299 and is currently marked down by $50 to $1,250:

We wouldn’t blame anyone for skipping the M4 for the new M5 at this point, but I’d also argue that very few M5 buyers are likely to see all the big differences between it and the 2025 M4 model. And now you can get last year’s variant for $170 less.
