Learn what to do if web page content breaks, showing blank white space at the bottom when browsing in Safari on iPhone running iOS 26.
Some users have reported that Safari in iOS 26 suddenly cuts off the bottom part of a web page, making it impossible to view full content, unless scrolled down.

In some cases, even the options on the Safari Start Page are cut in a strange way, looking strange and un-Apple-like.

If you are also facing this problem, here are some tips to fix it.
Update your iPhone to the latest version of iOS 26
If your iPhone is still running the first build of iOS 26, go to Settings > General > Software Updates and install the latest version, which at the time of writing is iOS 26.3.1 (with iOS 26.4 coming soon).
Make sure the page is fully loaded
It’s also possible that the webpage you’re on hasn’t fully loaded due to an internet or VPN problem. Just check your internet connection and refresh the web page by tapping the curved arrow icon in the Safari address bar.
Restart your iPhone
iOS 26, like its predecessor, is extremely buggy and glitchy. Since the nature of my work involves using the iPhone, iPad, and Mac for hours every day, I have noticed many problems, such as Safari showing a full blank white page, the entire Clipboard failing to work almost every day, AirDrop not transferring files or keeping me waiting, applications not responding, and so on.
I know I don’t always like restarting my iPhone in the middle of work, but this simple step works really well. So if it’s been a while since you last restarted your device, do it now, and check if the blank web page problem is fixed.
Turn off the brightness reduction mode
If you don’t like the new Liquid Glass design language, you can reduce its impact by turning on transparency reduction, which blurs some backgrounds to improve visibility.
If you’ve already installed the latest version of iOS 26, but this weird Safari problem persists, follow these steps to turn off Reduce Brightness, which should fix the problem.
- Open the Settings app and press Accessibility.
- Tap Display & Text Size.
- Shut up Reduce Transparency if it is open.
- Now force quit and reopen Safari, or restart your iPhone, and visit this web page again. Chances are, it won’t cut the page to show a white box at the bottom of the screen.

Try another Safari bottom tab style
Safari supports triple bottom tab layouts, with It’s compact being automatic. Go to iOS 26 Settings > Applications > Safari and select Down or At the top. Then, open Safari and refresh the web page. In this case, it should show the full content, without cutting anything.

Customize the Safari Home Page
If you notice that some elements on your Safari home page are disconnected, follow the tips above. And if those didn’t help, try the following:
- Go to Safari Start Page on your iPhone, tap Organizeand turn off all options.
- Force quit Safari.
- Restart your iPhone.
- Open Safari, tap Organizethen re-add the options you want to the Home Page. I hope some of them will not be cut now.

Clear Safari browser data
If the problem remains unresolved, go to iOS 26 Settings > Applications > Safari and clear all browser history and data. Then, restart your iPhone, and this issue should be a thing of the past.
Check if the problem occurs in other browsers
Unlike macOS, browsers on iOS, including Chrome, are required to use the Apple WebKit engine. This means that they share the same basic engine as Safari, although they have different interfaces.
However, visit the same web page in Chrome, Firefox, or other browsers and check if the problem recurs. If possible, clear the data of the Safari browser, as mentioned above.
Reset all iOS settings
If web pages in Safari on your iPhone show an empty white box in the lower part, not because of bugs or problems, but because of conflicting settings, resetting everything can help.
Go to Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset and reset all settings. You can read the results of this in our linked tutorial.
Set up your iPhone again
Finally, if nothing helps, and waiting for the new iOS 26 update, or switching to another browser is not an option for you, consider wiping your device and setting it up again. Of course, before doing this, back up all your important data to iCloud or make a full backup of the device.
