Looking for some of the best wireless headphones on the market? We’ve seen these five-star Sennheiser headphones drop in price a few months ago, but now they’re at a great price.
For only $227 on Amazon, you can pick up the Sennheiser Momentum 4 Wireless for $123 off!
The Sennheiser Momentum 4 Wireless headphones may be an older model compared to their closest competitors, the Bose QuietComfort Ultra and the Sony XM6, but they’ll cost you less while performing as well as the best ANC pairs for their price.
While we miss the sleek look of the previous Momentum models, you might like the minimalist aesthetic of the well-made Momentum 4, which is more than fit for purpose and offers low-key insight.
But it’s the blistering, competitor-crushing 60 hours of battery that we need to shout about – one feature on the Momentum 4 Wireless’s sheet.
Throw in support for aptX Adaptive, one of the highest quality Bluetooth codecs, Bluetooth 5.2 compliance, and the Sennheiser Smart Control app (a gateway to trying out EQ) and you’ve got an impressive selection.
There’s also the option to switch to wired listening – either with the supplied 2.5mm to 3.5mm audio cable or USB-C to USB-C (not supplied).
Also, the option to create ‘Sound Zones’ – essentially profiles with specific EQ and noise levels – that will automatically activate or deactivate when you and the headphones enter or leave a certain radius.
But, how do they sound? However, our expert testers said: “To their credit, the Momentum 4 Wireless’ presentation is clear and direct enough to demand your attention. When we started playing music with it, we were also impressed by its tonal balance, which has shed a layer or two of the richness that marked the older Momentums, in favor of more neutrality this time around.”
And the fourth-generation Momentum Wireless’ ANC is truly decent, which our testers praised: “As we drove down a busy street, we found that traffic was well avoided – reduced to a visual, not an audible, distraction. The Sony XM5 has a slight edge when it comes to blocking out loud sounds, such as trucks playing, low-key music, or low-key music. Out of ten, both seem to be equally effective at canceling out noise and keeping it at bay. in the bubble that the music uses when it plays.”
In the end, the Sennheiser Momentum 4 Wireless is still highly recommended for those who can’t afford the extra cost of sonic transparency. And down to just $227 on Amazon for a limited time it’s the best value you can grab.
