Apple’s new super-affordable Midnight M5 MacBook Air just dropped to $949 ($150 off)
Amazon is offering the best prices yet on the new M5 MacBook Air this week. This morning, it also brings a new low-cost 13-inch model at the end of Midnight with 16GB of RAM and 512GB SSD $150 off list price.
Amazon is now offering the new 13-inch M5 MacBook Air with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. $949 shipped. Normally $1,099, this is a direct $150 off list price and the best we’ve ever tracked for this model.
Now you’ll find all four colors of this configuration – the most affordable you can buy – down to $949 or $949.99. We saw Silver, Sky Blue, and Starlight come down this way yesterday, but we were still waiting in the dark of Midnight.
We caught Midnight falling this way on Sunday, but it took a few hours before we bounced back to $1,050.
As we have previously explained, Apple has increased the storage dimensions in the new M5 MacBook Air series, starting things with a 512GB SSD instead of the old model’s 256GB. This also raised the price of the entry model, but since today’s price drops, we’ve got a strong discount to join deals everywhere for up to $150 off this week:

We’ve already detailed the various configurations by seeing the price drop, but we wanted to highlight the same black Apple Watch Ultra 3 with black Milanese Loop – the mid-size option is now at the lowest price we’ve ever seen on Amazon. $99 discount.
Amazon is now offering the black Apple Watch Ultra 3 fitted with a Black Titanium Milanese Loop in the medium size $799.99 shipped.
This regular $900 set is now $99 off the list price for Amazon’s new all-time low on the medium size. We saw the big model drop this low last year, and we’re here now, but this is the first of the average.

The M5 MacBook Air and M5 Pro MacBook Pro deals are going live this week, but we’ve also spotted a notable deal on this silver M5 MacBook Pro with 24GB of RAM at one of its best prices — $223 below its launch price.
Amazon is now offering a silver M5 MacBook Pro with 24GB of RAM and 1TB of storage $1,776 shipped. This one launched for $1,999 in late 2025 and now has a list price of $1,899 after Apple raised the last tiers in the M5 lineup last month.
While we’ve seen the Space Black variant of this configuration for less this year, this is the lowest price the silver model has sold for in 2026 on Amazon. It’s now among the lowest $26s we’ve ever tracked (as of the 2025 Black Friday deal season) and currently undercuts the Space Black model by $23.

New M4 iPad Air deals at Amazon: Up to $100 off prices starting at $556 shipped
While Amazon hasn’t been as aggressive with the M4 iPad Air lineup as it is with the all-time low of the M5 MacBook Air. $149 discountthere are strong discounts that can be taken. The new M4 iPad Air was just launched last month and now we’re tracking some configurations back at the lowest prices we’ve seen. $556 shipped.
We’re still tracking at least a $50 discount on almost every configuration on the latest list, but we’ve seen a few drop a touch today alongside top 1TB models that are up to $100 off list prices. Again, they’re not as aggressive about pricing as some of Apple’s new releases, but this tends to be par for the course — the last two generations of iPad Air models made it deep into their life cycle before we started seeing anything in the $150 discount range.
