withings appears to be preparing to launch a new smart scale called BodyFit. The teaser page, supported by the trademark filing we received, points to a device that focuses on full-body mapping and more accurate body analysis.
The company has set up a dedicated landing page for the product, simply titled “Withings BodyFit”, with the tagline “Full-body mapping. Absolute precision.” Next to that registration form inviting visitors to sign up to be among the first to hear more, which usually suggests that the launch isn’t too far off.
Strong eligibility angle for Wings
The most interesting part here is the words. withings already offers some of the most advanced scales on the market, most notably the Body Scan we reviewed a few years ago. It can check body composition in all different regions using its retractable handle.
What’s important to note is that Winnings teased the Body Scan 2 at CES 2026 in January. But this teaser seems to be a different product.
The term “BodyFit” is more about training, fitness and muscle tracking than general fitness. That suggests this could be a scale designed with more active users in mind, people who are focused on muscle gain, fat loss, balance between body parts and long-term fitness progress rather than just overall weight.
The expression “full body map” also indicates a continuation of the detailed phase analysis we have seen so far. If Wings improves the accuracy of arm, leg and body readings, this could make the device attractive to gym-goers and athletes who want to track how their bodies change over time.
Trademarking adds weight to the leak
What makes this more than just a cliché is the trademark behind it. We dug up the UK file “Withings BodyFit” which is cited under reference UK00004344990. That strongly suggests that this is a different brand name that the company intends to use commercially, rather than a temporary landing page concept or internal code name.
When a live teaser page and a trademark placement appear together, it’s usually a strong sign that an official announcement is imminent. The real question is whether the company is introducing something truly new in terms of muscle imbalance detection, better methods for athletes or more advanced progress statistics in the app.
Either way, this makes for an interesting presentation. withings is already the benchmark in smart scales, so it will be worth seeing which side the company takes with BodyFit.
