Now, both Amazon and Walmart are selling them for about $30 less than their normal listing price. Additionally, both retailers also offer AppleCare+ protection for this item, for about the same price as the discount, for what it is.
On their own, the AirPods have a battery life of five hours, which can be extended to 30 hours if you use the included charging case. Built with the Apple H2 chip, the earbuds feature voice isolation that Apple promises will improve call quality in noisy environments while also isolating your voice when talking to people. Able to work with Apple’s voice assistant Siri, these AirPods include Spatial Audio that Apple says creates a “theater-like” experience for your audio and media. Along with USB-C and wireless charging support for the case, AirPods are also dust, water, and sweat resistant.
On Amazon, AirPods hold an average of 4.6 stars with more than 29,390 reviews, while they have 4.3 stars on Walmart’s website with more than 71,800 reviews. Customers give AirPods 4 praise for their high sound quality, affordable price, and strong battery life. However, some users note that the earbuds may be uncomfortable (AirPods 4 uses a one-size-fits-all design). Still, this would be a solid deal for those looking for Apple hardware, and would also make a solid graduation gift for students.
