I WaveFly 5X is the buyer’s grade wing-in-ground (WIG) technologywhich means it uses floor effect rather than flying high like a normal plane. Low impact is the cushion of air that forms between the wing and the surrounding area. For the WaveFly 5X, that environment is water, so the craft is designed for flying only 30 to 80 cm above itas far as 70 minutes.
The craft delivers until 80 km wide and supports a large load of 140 kg. It includes a tandem-wing aerodynamic layouttwo 17,700W electric motorsi aerospace-grade carbon fiber bodyand a low-pull lifting system reduce water resistance.
I WaveFly 5X he can leave lakes, shores, or islands outside the runway or airport. It also uses push/pull controls that NAVEE claims makes it easier to operate than a boat, and the company says no driver’s license required. All those features are designed to improve stability and safety. According to NAVEE, boarding “not seasick,” making the WaveFly 5X smoother than a boat while easier to maneuver than an airplane.
The NAVEE flying speedboat is fully electric, using ia hot swappable batteryand foundations custom options for an additional fee. The company also revealed sustainable things as part of the design. This high-end recreational vehicle is aimed at waterfront owners, resorts, private islands, and early adopters who want something different from a jet ski or speedboat.
NAVEE has confirmed that many distributors have signed letters of intent to deliver WaveFly 5X in key global markets, incl North America, Europe, Middle East, and Asia-Pacific.
