Apple is raising iCloud+ subscription prices in several countries

Following recent hardware price hikes in the US and Japan, as well as subscriber growth in the US and other markets, Apple has now increased iCloud+ prices in several countries. Here are the details.

Apple’s price hike continues

Apple this week increased subscriptions to Apple Music and Apple One in the United States and other countries, in addition to raising iPhone prices in Japan by 11%.

That increase came just days after Apple raised the prices of MacBooks, iPads, and other products in the US in response to an industry-wide memory shortage.

Now, Apple has announced another round of price increases for iCloud + in many markets. Here are the updated prices for iCloud+ in the affected markets as of today:

Egypt (EGP)

• 50 GB: £49.99 (was £39.99)
• 200 GB: £179.99 (was £149.99)
• 2 TB: £599.99 (was £499.99)
• 6 TB: £1799.99 (£1499.99)
• 12 TB: £3599.99 (was £2999.99)

Nigeria (NGN)

• 50 GB: ₦1300 (was ₦900)
• 200 GB: ₦4500 (was ₦2900)
• 2 TB: ₦14900 (was ₦9900)
• 6 TB: ₦39900 (was ₦26900)
• 12 TB: ₦66900 (was ₦44900)

Türkiye (TRY)

• 50 GB: 49.99 TL (was 39.99 TL)
• 200 GB: 169.99 TL (was 129.99 TL)
• 2 TB: 549.99 TL (was 399.99 TL)
• 6 TB: 1699.99 TL (was 1299.99 TL)
• 12 TB: 3399.99 TL (was 2499.99 TL)

Indonesia (IDR)

• 50 GB: Rp 15000 (price unchanged)
• 200 GB: Rp 59000 (was Rp 49000)
• 2 TB: Rp 199000 (was Rp 169000)
• 6 TB: Rp 599000 (was Rp 499000)
• 12 TB: Rp 1199000 (was Rp 999000)

Japan (JPY)

• 50 GB: ¥180 (was ¥150)
• 200 GB: ¥540 (was ¥450)

• 6 TB: ¥5500 (was ¥4500)
• 12 TB: ¥11000 (was ¥9000)

New Zealand (NZD)

• 50 GB: $1.99 (was $1.69)
• 200 GB: $5.99 (was $4.99)
• 2 TB: $19.99 (was $16.99)
• 6 TB: $59.99 (was $49.99)
• 12 TB: $119.99 (was $99.99)

Philippines (PHP)

• 50 GB: ₱59 (was ₱49)
• 200 GB: ₱199 (was ₱179)

• 12 TB: ₱3990 (was ₱3590)

Vietnam (VND)

Additionally, Apple now lists Laos, Mauritius, and the Republic of Congo as regions where iCloud+ upgrades are “charged in United States dollars (USD) with prices that may be slightly higher due to Value Added Tax (VAT).”
