A user reports that their Pixel 8 was stuck in a bootloop. The issue is much deeper, as they say, “The phone will not turn on battery power at all. No vibration, no screen, nothing.” The release is reportedly achieved when their Pixel 8 is on its charger; However, this is where the bootloop starts.

Android Central Take

The seriousness of this issue is what worries me the most. This is a problem, which I have seen, that affects the daily calls of users. It leaves people scrambling to find the right fix that will allow them to use their device to stay connected. Like everyone on Reddit, I hope April brings relief.

Their phone will start up, display the Google “G,” and then their screen will go black—rinse and repeat. It is understood that their phone is not reaching the point where it is usable. Another user chimed in, saying he encountered this problem on their Pixel 10 XL after the March update. Another user’s Pixel 10 experienced a serious problem with the March update, as their phone gave the message “Unable to load Android system with corrupted data”.

The article continues below

            You might like it

This issue also appears to be from the March update. It seems that Google is aware of this issue now. The only thing left is the update itself to provide the affected users with the much-needed help. Reportedly, a few users have found that turning on their phone in Safe Mode has helped them.

Android Central Take

I think this is the last thing that Pixel 10 users wanted, and now these problems have spread to several phones of previous models. Android Authority highlights their findings, which show problems across multiple generations, from the Pixel 6 on up. It’s unclear whether we’re too close to the April release for Google to hope to fix. If anything, we could see a second emergency later this month or we’ll have to wait until May (which is challenging).

March did not treat the Google Pixel 10 series very kindly. The month reached the usual safety zone, which was still active in the ongoing image issues. Soon after, Pixel users raised their voices about the issues that remain open. Those reports last month said Pixel 10 phones would freeze multiple times a day, forcing users to restart their devices. Since launch, freezing screens and flickering issues have been a constant in the series, like no other.

Get the latest news from Android Central, your trusted friend in the Android world

What you need to know Pixel users across several generations are reporting bootlooping issues after the March update.
