In that report, I described Glenn&#8217;s claims of gross misconduct, which Microsoft has barely addressed, simply saying, &#8220;<em>We do not publicly discuss individual employee matters.<\/em>&#8220;<\/p>\n<p>Now, a new report from Rebs Gaming has stepped forward, working to investigate and confirm a few of those allegations. I will not report it because 1) it was done &#8230; in a way that will be difficult to prove and 2) the retaliation will be true &#8230; I do not trust the MSHR&#8217;s ability or interest to protect me &#8230; respected, impartial, and perhaps most importantly uninvolved you know that I know if, for example, my work takes a while<\/p><figcaption><cite>Glenn Israel, Former Art Director at Halo Studios<\/cite><\/figcaption><\/blockquote>\n<\/figure>\n<p id=\"elk-2c9acb50-8cbf-4d81-8432-9b448f11a3c7\">Other claims have also been raised about recruitment practices. Glenn says the three creative leadership roles in question were the only positions outsourced between June 2024 and June 2025, and claims for all three were filled by former collaborators, possibly the fourth time following the same pattern. I will affirm that the appalling appearance of incompetence in the employment shown here was indeed the cause of concern in my original complaints&#8230; Once it may be mysterious, doubly accidental; three or more times is a pattern, and a direct violation of Microsoft&#8217;s code of conduct&#8230; I will add information that Mr. Rebs would not know &#8211; three of these positions were the only creative leadership positions posted for external recruitment between June 2024 and June 2025; the fact that all three (and a fourth?) went to their former partners suggests not only a pattern but a vague policy&#8230;This behavior is acceptable for a garage startup in 1996&#8230; Halo Studios is part of the third most profitable company in the world in 2026&#8230; One cannot simply hire and promote one&#8217;s partners.<\/p><figcaption><cite>Glenn Israel, Former Art Director at Halo Studios<\/cite><\/figcaption><\/blockquote>\n<\/figure>\n<p id=\"elk-cb103fa9-4505-492e-b985-beb28679fb30\">The report also describes how the Halo Digsite team was treated, which is well documented. The group, made up of community modders responsible for restoring the Halo 2 E3 demo, was disbanded after Halo Studios refused to pay the workers.<\/p>\n<p>Another Digsite team member said: \u201c<em>Pierre told us that we can leave the group as unlike him, we were not born with a gun to our head, which means we will not understand the real issues and consequences.<\/em>&#8220;.<\/p>\n<p>More in the full report from Mr. Rebs, so give the video a full watch, and be sure to follow them on both X and YouTube!<\/p>\n<p>I hope Microsoft can step in and stabilize things before Halo: Campaign Evolved.
