In-depth revealed several details about the game&#8217;s story and setting, while confirming a Winter 2026 release date for Xbox Series X|S, Windows PC (Steam and Epic Games Store), and PS5.<\/p>\n<aside data-block-type=\"embed\" data-render-type=\"fte\" data-skip=\"dealsy\" data-widget-type=\"seasonal\" class=\"hawk-root\"\/>\n<p id=\"elk-8fae6d44-e213-4338-b23b-a187b0b2494f-2\" class=\"paywall\" aria-hidden=\"true\">The announcement of Metro 2039 was a celebration of 4A Games, who wrote a letter to the community discussing how the game means a lot to them as they work to end it amid the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Sure, it&#8217;s a dollar and a half, but you get the ability to customize games if you&#8217;d like, <em>again <\/em>you can push their visual fidelity up a lot if you have a high-end gaming rig.<\/p>\n<p>All these games are also available individually on all their platforms (Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, PC) for huge discounts of 80-90%, too, so if you already own some and just need to get the titles you&#8217;re missing, you can still take advantage of the amazing savings.<\/p>\n<p>If you enjoy single-player shooters and don&#8217;t mind the horror elements, I can&#8217;t recommend the Metro series enough. The story of the franchise&#8217;s protagonist Artyom and his friends told in the prequel trilogy Metro 2039 is a beautiful story of hope and resilience in a dark, post-nuclear world, wrapped in some of the most compelling and atmospheric FPS gameplay I&#8217;ve ever experienced.<\/p>\n<p>Metro Exodus in particular stands out as my favorite open-world shooter for its unparalleled immersion, world design, and gameplay, but the series as a whole is a masterpiece. It costs more than its full price, so enjoying it for the price of a beer is one of the best bang-for-your-buck you can take advantage of. Get games while they&#8217;re cheap this way \u2014 I promise you won&#8217;t regret it.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Are you excited to get your hands on Metro 2039 later this year?
