A variety of products from tools to electronics were researched to compile this list. Only similar products are compared head to head – for example, no corded vacuums are measured against the Craftsman stickless vacuum sold at Ace. To compare costs, the current price on Amazon and Ace was used. Limited time sales not included in prices \u2014 just regular list price.<\/p>\n
Comparing quality was a very difficult endeavor. Personal experience was prioritized above anything else. Wherever possible I combined my experiences with tools. After that, we consulted the user ratings and reviews found on the Amazon and Ace Hardware websites, but only if hundreds, if not thousands, contributed to the average result. Reviews written by customers were also taken into account, as were personal feedback and recommendations from users posting on online forums such as Reddit.<\/p>\n
We also looked at written tool reviews by reputable YouTube channels and professional publications, including Professional Tool Reviews and Consumer Reports.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
