Starting with the Galaxy S22 Ultra, Samsung has been using the phone’s 10MP camera with 3x optical zoom. However, the company is rumored to be ditching the Galaxy S27 Ultra, instead relying on the basic camera zoom. This can free up internal space for other components, such as built-in magnets for Qi2.x wireless charging.\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
There is currently no information on whether Samsung will improve the front-facing camera with the Galaxy S27 series. A larger and higher resolution sensor would be a welcome improvement. Some rumors say it could introduce a front-facing 3D face-viewing camera for improved security.\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
It would also be interesting to see Samsung use a front-facing sensor with a square format, similar to Apple’s approach, allowing users to capture landscape and portrait photos without changing the orientation of the phone.\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
