Microsoft Surface Week used to mean something. Fans and journalists flocked to the screens to watch the live stream or attend the event in person when Microsoft unveiled the new hardware.<\/p>\n

Things are very different in 2026, and I wouldn’t blame you for missing new Surface hardware announcements entirely. Microsoft did not hold an event or broadcast its announcements. Instead, the company published information in publications and published blog posts.<\/p>\n
