However, those rumors turned out to be false. Now, a Samsung executive has confirmed that the company is indeed working on the Galaxy Ring 2 and that it might come with some surprising features.\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-galaxy-ring-2-development-confirmed-could-feature-iphone-pairing-support\">The Galaxy Ring 2 upgrade is confirmed, it may include iPhone pairing support<\/h2>\n<\/p>\n<div class=\"core-content paragraph-content\">\n<p>In interview no <em>Forbes<\/em>Dr. Hon Pak, Samsung&#8217;s Senior Vice President and Head of the Digital Health Team, confirmed that the company is actively developing the next-generation Galaxy Ring. He noted that wearable sensors across the industry are now similar in capabilities, so the key difference will be the software services built on top of the collected health data.<!-- Either there are no banners, they are disabled or none qualified for this location! -->\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"core-content paragraph-content\">\n<p>Currently, the Galaxy Ring can only be paired with Android devices. When asked about the possibility of iPhone collaboration in the future, Dr. Hon Pak strongly indicated that wide compatibility is being considered for the Galaxy Ring 2. While he was still talking, he said, \u201c<em>I smile but I can&#8217;t say anything. Modern wearables monitor blood oxygen, heart rate, breathing rate, sleep, and steps throughout the day. Samsung then checks the user&#8217;s vital signs over seven days to find a baseline and notifies them if their health data deviates from it.\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"core-content paragraph-content\">\n<p>Samsung&#8217;s Heart Health Score feature measures the user&#8217;s health across four metrics, Activity, Nutrition, Sleep, and Stress, to assess and predict cardiovascular health risk.
