    Skullcandy is gearing up for a new product launch on July 15. While the company isn’t saying exactly what’s coming, its latest teaser gives enough hints about what might be on the horizon.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

    Skullcandy’s website lists a “Machine Launch” scheduled for 7:45 PM ET on July 15. Visitors are greeted with the tagline, “We’re on a mission to give people something to feel,” and a short teaser video in which skate icon Tony Hawk, Skullcandy speaks to an official TV ambassador. “Make the best headphones you’ll ever own.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

    This page also invites visitors to register to be the first to know about the announcement. After entering an email address, users are shown another cryptic message: “Something is happening inside the Skullcandy lab. You’ll be the first to find out what it is.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

    None of this clearly spells out what’s to come, but the repeated emphasis on giving users something to feel seems like a nod to Skullcandy’s signature Crusher program. The series stands out with its adjustable sensory bass technology.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

    Adding to the mystery is another line on the teaser page: “Cooperation. Success. Something that has never existed before.” We strongly suspect that the collaboration Skullcandy suggests may involve Bose. The company ran a similar teaser campaign ahead of the launch of the Method 360 wireless earbuds, which were also revealed to feature Bose-tuned audio.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

    If this is indeed a new launch for Crusher, the timing would make sense. Skullcandy hasn’t updated their flagship Crusher app in a while. The popular Crusher Evo debuted in 2020, and the Crusher 2 followed in 2023. Apart from the active-oriented Crusher 540 Active and the gaming-oriented PLYR 720 released in 2025, the company has not introduced anything new to the family.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

    Recent regulatory records also lend some credence to the estimates. The Skullcandy Crusher 1080 ANC recently appeared in FCC filings, suggesting that the company has new Crusher products to launch. While FCC certifications don’t reveal launch plans, they often precede official announcements.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

    For now, Skullcandy is keeping its cards close to its chest. But between sensor-focused messages, a long gap since the last Crusher headphones, and recent FCC observations, all signs suggest that bass lovers may not have long to wait.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
