Nike and Hyperice have announced the Nike Air Zoom Hyperslide, a recovery slide that puts heat and vibration hardware in its adjustable line. Companies want recovery gear underfoot as soon as training ends, instead of being packed away in a drawer or gym bag.<\/p>\n

It’s a simple thing. The slide that people already wear after games becomes a short recovery session.<\/p>\n

The Air Zoom Hyperslide arrives on September 29 for $249, available online at nike.com and hyperice.com, with Best Buy and Dick’s Sporting Goods carrying it in US stores. Hyperice says the slide qualifies as an eligible FSA\/HSA purchase.<\/p>\n

A recovery tool hidden in the belt<\/h2>\n

\"NikeThe belt does double duty: the magnetic Hyperslide Pod snaps into it and slides back out with ease. Nike says the pod warms and cushions the top of the foot, while the full-length, low-profile Air Zoom sole handles the flex the slide has to offer anyway. The hardware sits where the standard slider is only padded.<\/p>\n

Each session lasts 15 minutes, and users can adjust settings on the pod or through the Hyperice app. The detachable design is a powerful idea. It gives the shoes a familiar role while keeping the electronics separate from the slide itself. The slide starts in black and a light color Nike calls Orewood, and the size run is wide for the slide: 15 options in total, starting at M4\/W5 and going up to M18\/W19 in US sizes.<\/p>\n

The practical appeal extends beyond the lobby<\/h2>\n

For athletes, the use case is obvious: step out of your training shoes, start a cycle, and let the slider manage the transition from exercise to recovery. Nike’s release extends that same voice to “people who manage travel, work and daily movement,” including travelers and anyone who spends the day on their feet, even without exercising.<\/p>\n

There is no setup table to remove and no additional portable device to carry. That 15-minute limit also provides a useful boundary: it’s a brief reset before the drive home or after the flight, not a substitute for health care or a serious recovery plan.<\/p>\n

At $249, the Hyperslide remains a premium add-on rather than an outright purchase, placing it closer to Hyperice’s existing recovery technology than a standard pair of slides.<\/p>\n

Nike’s announcement doesn’t mention battery life, charging time, water resistance, or the full list of markets included in the September 29 release, though Hyperice has said elsewhere that the pods run for about an hour per charge (about four 15-minute sessions) and are recharged via USB-C. The release describes heat and vibration as supporting daily rest and recovery. Those are company claims, not independent clinical findings, and Nike isn’t labeling the slide as a treatment for an injury or medical condition.<\/p>\n
